I like the way jewellery remains on skeletal fingers and arms, encircling the bone long after the flesh has disappeared. As a child I saw photos of jewellery on the skeletons of Pompeii, they were beautiful and haunting. Maybe I’ll do a more complete jewelled skeleton at some point but here’s a small arm and hand with two jewelled rings – a white gem and a blue gem. Set in a hand made wooden frame.
